About the Program:

In 1965 President Lyndon B. Johnson began an unprecedented progressive approach to making higher education more accessible to students through his "War on Poverty" legislation. Out of this the TRIO program to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds not only get to college, but attain their baccalaureate degree. The TRIO programs have been making a difference for students since their inception.

Student Support Services helps Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi students become more successful in their educational endeavors by offering a vast array or services, assistance, and information. These program services are free of cost to eligible program participants
